Jaylen Marselles Brown is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics NBA. He played one year of college basketball for the California Golden Bears, being named first-team all-conference and Freshman of the Year in the Pac-12 Conference. Declaring for the 2016 NBA draft after his freshman season, Brown was selected by the Celtics with the third overall pick. As a professional, he has split his time between shooting guard and small forward. Brown is a three-time NBA All-Star, and helped the Celtics reach the 2022 and 2024 NBA Finals, as well as the Eastern Conference finals on six separate occasions.
